Data and formats

Which forms can Clara fill?

Owner bid forms, AIA A305 qualification statements, bid bond details, HUB subcontracting plans, DBE participation forms and similar prequalification documents, in PDF or DOCX, scanned PDFs included.

Can I edit the filled forms?

Yes. Clara delivers filled PDFs and editable DOCX copies. Every value can be changed before your team signs.

Where does the bid amount come from?

From your estimate. Clara does not set your price. If you use Clara's bid pricing, the priced schedule can carry over, and your team confirms the number.

Fields

Where do the values come from?

From your company records in the AI Brain: company profile, past projects, certificates, bonding letters, insurance certificates and safety records. Every field shows the document it came from.

What happens if a value is missing?

Clara flags the field as open instead of inventing a value, with the reason. You add the document or type the value, and from then on it is available for future bids.

How does Clara handle expiring documents?

Clara checks the dates on certificates, surety letters and insurance against the rules in the bid package and flags anything out of date.

Can I adjust the values?

Yes. Every value can be edited, and nothing goes out without your approval. Confirmed values are kept in the AI Brain for future bids.

Process and control

What happens with unclear requirements?

Unclear or conflicting requirements are flagged with the page, for example an addendum that revises the bid form. You settle them in one list before bid day.

Does Clara check signatures and enclosures?

Yes. Clara lists every signature, notarization and enclosure the bid package requires and shows which are still open.

Who signs and submits?

Always you. Clara fills the forms for review; your team signs, notarizes where required and submits. Clara never submits a bid.

Security and cost

Is my company data used for training?

No. Your company data and filled forms are not used to train AI models. Storage and AI processing run on US infrastructure, and every organization is isolated.

Is bid form filling fully developed yet?

Bid form filling is a feature of Clara. Founding cohort teams use it today, and their feedback goes straight into development.

How much does bid form filling with Clara cost?

Bid form filling is part of Clara and included in the BAU AI plans. Prices are on request while the founding cohort is open.
