Privacy Policy
How BAU AI Construction Tech Inc. ("BAU AI", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit bauai.co or use the BAU AI platform.
1. Who we are
LEGAL REVIEW BAU AI Construction Tech Inc. is a Delaware C-corp operating the bauai.co website and the BAU AI platform for US customers. Our registered address and contact information for privacy matters appear in the Contact section below.
bauai.co is the US-facing site. European visitors are redirected to our sister property, bauai.eu, operated by BAU AI GmbH. The two entities operate separately. If you are a visitor or customer of bauai.eu, see bauai.eu/datenschutz for the policy that applies to you.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact form at bauai.co/contact: your name, work email, company, the team you work on (optional), the topic you choose, and your message. The form sends these by email to our team; the website itself does not keep a copy in a database.
- Email you send us, including pricing, newsletter and webinar requests made through links that open your own email app. Those pages do not store anything themselves.
- Demo bookings: if you choose "Book a demo", you schedule on Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service, and give them the details their form asks for. Their privacy policy applies to that booking page.
- Documents and content you upload to the BAU AI platform under your tenant (bids, contracts, proposals, specifications).
- Account and billing information if you become a paying customer.
Information collected automatically
- LEGAL REVIEW Hosting logs: our host, Vercel, records standard request data such as IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. We use it to run and secure the site.
- Approximate country from your IP address, read at request time to send visitors from Europe to bauai.eu. We do not store it.
- Cookies and browser storage, listed in full in the table below.
- Analytics: bauai.co does not run Google Analytics or any other analytics service today. If we turn on Google Analytics 4, it will load only on bauai.co, with Google signals and ad personalization turned off, it will not load when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, and we will update this policy before it goes live.

Bob, the site guide in the corner of each page, answers from the content of bauai.co inside your browser. What you type into Bob is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you choose to email the team from Bob, your email app opens with the question filled in and nothing goes out until you send it.
We do not use advertising cookies. Cal.com sets its own cookies on its booking page, outside bauai.co.
3. How we use information
- Operate and secure the bauai.co site and the BAU AI platform.
- Respond to demo, pricing, and early-access requests.
- Communicate with you about the service, including security notices, product changes, and billing.
- Reply to messages sent through the contact form or by email.
- LEGAL REVIEW Measure site performance and content effectiveness in aggregate, if and when analytics is turned on as described above.
4. Sharing and processors
LEGAL REVIEW We do not sell personal information. We share limited personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf under written data processing agreements. Categories include: cloud hosting and compute (US-only), email delivery, customer support, billing, product analytics, and error reporting. Each processor is bound to confidentiality and purpose limitation.
The service providers that handle website visitor data today are: Vercel (website hosting and request logs), Resend (delivers contact form messages to our inbox, once the form is switched on), and Cal.com (demo scheduling, only when you choose to book). LEGAL REVIEW Confirm the data processing agreements with each provider before relying on this list.
LEGAL REVIEW We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction. In each case we will provide notice where legally permitted.
5. Retention
LEGAL REVIEW Account and billing records are retained for the life of the account plus a statutory retention period. Content uploaded under your tenant is retained according to your configured retention policy; the default is set per contract. On request, we hard-delete your content within 30 days across all systems and backups per the policy published at bauai.co/security.
6. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical controls described at bauai.co/security, including US data residency, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, logical tenant isolation, SSO on Studio and above, and annual third-party penetration testing. SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress; SOC 2 is an attestation, not a certification.
7. AI training on your data
We do not use customer documents or outputs to train BAU AI models, and we do not permit any third-party model provider to retain or train on them beyond the request. Foundation models we call are accessed under enterprise terms that prohibit retention beyond the request.
8. Your rights
LEGAL REVIEW Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you.
- Access and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete personal information.
- Opt out of certain uses, including "sale" or "sharing" as defined by state law.
- Appeal a denial of these rights, where state law provides for appeals.
To exercise these rights, email tushar.adsul@bauai.co. We will respond in the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Do Not Sell or Share
LEGAL REVIEW Residents of US states with consumer privacy laws have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information, as those laws define those terms. BAU AI does not sell personal information. We may share limited information with analytics or advertising partners in ways that some state laws treat as "sharing."
To opt out, email tushar.adsul@bauai.co with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share". If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our analytics code does not load on this site.
LEGAL REVIEW Add state-specific disclosures (CA, CO, CT, UT, VA, OR, TX, etc.) and the categories of information collected, shared, and disclosed in the past 12 months, per each state's requirements.
10. Children's privacy
The BAU AI platform is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact tushar.adsul@bauai.co and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
bauai.co is a US-only service. US tenant data is stored and processed in the United States. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are redirected to bauai.eu, operated by BAU AI GmbH. See bauai.eu for the data-protection policy that applies to that entity.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on this page, and where appropriate, by email.
