Can ChatGPT level sub bids?

A general chat tool can summarize a proposal you paste in. It does not hold one scope across every bidder, track which lines map to which CSI division, or cite each number to the sub's page, so the bid tab still has to be checked by hand.

What is an unbalanced bid?

A bid where prices are shifted between line items, for example a heavy mobilization line or unit prices out of line with quantities, while the total still looks competitive. It moves payment risk onto you. Read more in how to spot an unbalanced bid.

Does bid leveling AI replace the estimator?

No. It does the first pass: mapping lines, flagging gaps and outliers, and drafting an award memo with reasons. The estimator checks the flags against the cited pages and makes the award decision.

Does Nova work with bids from BuildingConnected or Procore?

Nova reads the proposal files themselves, as PDF or XLSX, so the bids can come from BuildingConnected, Procore, email or a plan room. Your team brings them in.
